Hi fellow movie fans.... MovieMate was born out of a real need for likeminded movie fans to be able to connect. Whether you are bored, single, lonely or just can't talk your friends and family into going to that Arthouse, Horror, Bollywood, foreign speaking, animated comedy carchase film, we feel MovieMate is the answer. Log on, search our member profiles, link up and go to that movie you have been wanting to see for a while. After the movie share the experience even further by heading off to your favourite coffee haunt and discuss what you have just been to see. That's half the fun. Later, when you feel you have gathered a good group together you can expand the experience by organising MovieMate nights at a member's house - bring a DVD ( surprise them with your selection) some cheese, wine, witty banter and you have the makings of a great friendship happening right there in the loungeroom. Don't stop at movies though - live music and theatre, art galleries, picnics, barbies - you getting the picture?

Membership is available in two levels 3 months $10 - 12 Months $30 - much cheaper than the popcorn you will be buying by the bucket loads every time you head off to the movies with your MovieMate. You do not need to pay your membership fee until you have found someone you would like to link up with.
